The sculpture was inspired by my love of Christmas.  The Santas are all unique, each with their own expression and attitude. This Santa has a modern black and white hat with a curlicue tail, and a red glass ornament.   Made from stoneware ceramics, it is formed entirely by hand. Surface decoration is done with underglazes, carving, sgraffito and mishima. 
 
Santa  measures approximately 10.5"x 2.5" (26cm x 6cm).
