The sculpture was inspired by my love of Christmas. The Santas are all unique, each with their own expression and attitude. This Santa has a silver leaf hat, for a little extra pizzazz. Made from stoneware ceramics, it is formed entirely by hand. Surface decoration is done with underglazes, silver leaf, sgraffito and mishima.
